Lady Alice Montagu Douglas Scott in the royal glass coach as she drove through the London streets from Grosvenor Place to Buckingham Palace where she would marry Prince Henry, Duke of Gloucester in the Private Chapel. The wedding on 6 November 1935 was supposed to be held in Westminster Abbey but the death of the bride's father meant that the event was downscaled.
