Wedding guests wave farewell to the departing newly married Duke and Duchess of Kent (formerly Miss Katherine Worsley) as they leave Hovingham Hall, the bride's family home for their honeymoon following their wedding at York Minster on 8 June 1961. In the centre of picture can be seen the groom's sister, Princess Alexandra of Kent and Princess Anne (Princess Royal) who was one of the couple's bridesmaids.
