Description | RUSSIAN ICE BREAKER 3 |
Details |
The 'Yermak' (variously spelt), icebreaker built in Britain for the Russians who employ it to clear ice in the Baltic Sea and Arctic region. It appears likely the artist in this instance was actually trying tio depict the ice-clearing work of the ship Angara which operated to clear ferry routes on Lake Baikal, jowever the details of the ship depicted are most definitely those of the Yermak.
