Alexandra Feodorovna - (Alix of Hesse), (1872 - 1917) consort of Nicholas II of Russia and their two eldest daughters (right) Grand Duchess Olga (1895 - 1918) and (left) Grand Duchess Tatiana (1897 - 1918) wearing Red Cross uniforms serving at a military hospital in Petrograd (St. Petersburg) for the wounded soldiers, from (1914 -1917), until the family was arrested following the first Russian Revolution of 1917, and executed by Bolsheviks in July 1918 along with their mother, father and brother, the Tsarevitch.
