Description | Safe deposits for the valuables of passengers on Queen Mary |
Details |
The unique provision of safe deposits for the valuables of passengers on board the Queen Mary ocean liner. The problem of protecting valuables at sea solved by providing a passengers' strong room where a deposit locker or large steel cupboard could be rented. Once the locker is locked by a certain key, that key was the only one able to unlock it. Before any private locker could be unlocked, the had to be first set by the official guardian.
