This drama was written by Mr Tom Taylor and founded on the history of the assassination plot of 1696. Lord Clancarty (Mr Henry Neville)reveals the plot to the king but refuses to give names of the conspirators. The scene here shows Lord Clancarty being reunited with his wife.
