A scene from John Galsworthy's play, 'The Forest' which was staged at St. Martins Theatre in London in 1924. The scene depicts two survivors from a band of explorers sent out into Central Africa and shows Strood, played by Leslie Banks, a savage, Herrick, played by John Howell and Amina played by Hermione Baddeley.
