Description Scene outside Edgware Road Station after explosion
Details

People running in panic from Edgware Road Station moments after an explosion on the underground service on 30 October 1883. Two explosions took place, one on a train near Paddington (Praed Street) and another in a tunnel between Charing Cross and Westminster. The wounded were taken to St Mary's Hospital, Paddington, to be treated.
