Latest Navy aircrafts. Seaplanes in there present stage of development of 1918 for World War One purposes may be roughly divided into three classes. Small fighting machines of scout, an aerial fire-eater, of which two fine examples are given, capable of being carried on almost any ship. The general purpose plane, to which nothing comes amiss, whether it be reconnaissance, bombing, gun-spotting, or torpedo-carrying the short is the best-known Briton of this type taken to sea in a special ship.
