WW1 - A scene of Dover at night as it's searchlights discover two German submarines at the entrance of the harbour. The English Batteries opened fire on the water from the eastern forts. The picture was reported as an 'imaginative' enemy-picture reproduced from a well-known German paper. It is unknown whether the attack were repulsed or if the two German submarines were sunk.
