Description | Shah of Persia visit to London Hippodrome 1902 |
Details |
Shaw of Persia visit to the London Hippodrome, witnessing the catastrophe in 'The Bandits'. A prettily-arranged box draped with white, had been constructed facing the stage, bearing in its front the arms of Persia and the triple plumes of the Prince of Wales. The Shah and his suite seemed to be particularly pleased with the riding of M. Salamonsky and his 'statue horse,' and the scene at the end when the coach is overwhelmed with water.
