An Anglo-German 'Bisley' at the front. A Shooting test between British soldiers in their trench and German troops in the trench opposite. The scene depicted shows a German soldier setting up a tin can on a branch in the snow for the British marksmen to try their skill as snipers, during a lull in the battle.
