Details |
When following on the heels of a retreating enemy, there is increased work for all. Here we have a squadron of cavalry returning from close contact with the enemy, a party of Pioneers mending the roads that have been mined, and the R.E.'s making roads and rivers passable. Progress on our flanks is reported by the liaison officers attaced, and communication is suppied by the R.E. signallers.
