British silk and the Coronation. Lady Hart Dyke, seen left, making an attempt to revive the English silkworm industry and who had established a farm and factory at Lullingstone Park, Eynsford, Kent, watching girls work at the reeling machines which brought together filaments from the cocoons and form them into one continuous uniform strand. The silk would be used for the Coronation robes for Queen Elizabeth in 1937.
