Sir Colin Campbell (1792 - 1865), command of the Heavy Brigade, 93rd Highlanders notable for their actions during the Battle of Balaclava, Crimean War, 1854-6. At the Battle of Balaklava, Campbell successfully led the Highlanders with bravery and opportunism against massively superior numbers of Russian troops.
