Description Sir Cosmo Duff-Gordon, survivor of the Titanic
Details

Sir Duff-Gordon was saved from the 1912 Titanic disaster, along with his wife, Lady Duff-Gordon, otherwise known as 'Lucile' the famous socialite and couturier. The subsequent enquiry into the disaster scandalously revealed that Duff-Gordon and his wife had escaped in Lifeboat 1 along with just a handful of others. The capacity was of each Titanic lifeboat was 65.
