Robert Baden-Powell, 1st Baron Baden-Powell, leading a cavalry charge in South Africa. He is shown in the uniform of the Special Corps, which he raised in British Bechuanaland. Upon his return to Britain Baden-Powell became better known as the founder of the Boy Scouts.
