Front cover of The Sketch magazine showing the new French tennis star, fifteen year old Suzanne Lenglen, pictured with New Zealand Wimbledon champion, Anthony Wilding who had been her doubles partner at the Nice Lawn Tennis Club. The Sketch remarks of Lenglen, 'One day, possibly, she will be champion of the world' Wilding, who set hearts beating among the crowd at Wimbledon was killed in May 1915 at the Battle of Aubers Ridge.
