The Roll of Honour published in March 1919 and featuring portraits of officers killed in action towards the end of the First World War. Among the portraits is that of 2nd Lieut. W. E. S. Owen of the Manchester Regiment - the First World War poet, Wilfred Owen, who was killed in action near the Sambre Canal on 4 November 1918, a week before the cessation of hostilities.
