Photograph of the Turbine Steamer 'Kingfisher', built in 1906 by Messrs. Denny of Dumbarton for the General Steam Navigation Company. She was reputed to be the first turbine passenger steamer operating on the Thames, running a service between London, Southend, Ramsgate, Dover and (once a week) Boulogne.
