From left; Overskirts were in favour with several designers, worn apron-wise, or in a pannier effect. One of the prettiest was Victor Stiebel's young bell-skirted silk afternoon dress in mist and buttercup. From Worth, an indication of the 'Twenties' at its happiest with a svelte white blazer, worn over a strawberry ice pink frock with a cross over bodice. Finally, an Ascot outfit from Ronald Paterson comprising a lovely dress in fern green paper taffeta, with long sleeves, softly folded neckline, very full skirt and draping at the waist.
