A street scene showing the cacophony of noises to be heard on St Cecila's feast day, the patron saint of music, which falls in November. A marching band competes with a organ grinder, a family of ballad singers, a bag piper, a howling dog, a braying donkey, a town cryer and various other musical endeavours.
