Details

Scenes at the Royal Horse Show in June 1914, when two suffragettes made an attempt to appeal to the King. Larger picture shows Princess Mary, Lady Desborough, King George V, Queen Mary, Lord Redesdale and the Hon. Venetia Baring in the Royal box. The inset picture shows one of the 'hysterical females' as they were described by The Tatler.
