A variety of fashions for a 1950s summer. From left, two tennis fashions by Louis London. In the background, an impeccably tailored summer suit in chiffon weight wool and pure silk mixture with the jacket and skirt both lined. Designed by Roter. Next, a Balenciaga inspired tapered coat of whitewashed tweed lined with red silk, over a grey alpaca suit with pearl buttons, both by Ian Meredith. Finally, a Chekhovian dress in moire cotton, with full skirt by Schubette.
