A young Edward Prince of Wales(later Edward VIII and subsequently the Duke of Windsor)(1894-1972)inspects the production of artificial limbs at a war charity department of a Clyde shipyard and engine works. The yard of Messrs Yarrow supplies the Princess Louise Scottish Hospital for Limbless Soldiers and Sailors, and as demand far outstrips supply, the limbs have been manufactured at cost and without profit, to assist with
