Photograph of a Swissair aeroplane, of a type used between London and Zurich in 1936, seen at Zurich Airport. Winter flights between Croydon Airport and Zurich had just been introduced by Swissair and Imperial Airways, to provide a service for the growing numbers of holiday-makers going ski-ing.
