An artist's impression of the Temple of Jupiter Stator (Jupiter the Stayer), which stood in the Forum area of Rome. Tradition had it that the temple was founded by Romulus after a battle with the Sabines. The temple was ultimately destroyed by the fire in July 64, during Nero's reign
