Government-approved homes, many houses were destroyed during the Second World War, so prefabricated houses (prefabs) were built, for homeless familes, these were erected quickly and cheaply, providing quality homes with central heating and modern kitchens. Here shows some of the styles, estimated costs and how many being made.
