Double page spread from The Tatler featuring outfit ideas for a debutante's first season in 1958. On the left, mornings in town require a warm suit for the early days of the season so The Tatler suggests an Estrava mohair suit in hyacinth blue. For an important lunch (smaller picture), the fourth of June, Lord's or a chilly day in Henley Week or Ascot, a grey worsted coat over a pale blue wild silk dress from Harrods worn with a cap of straw flowers by Vernier. Finally, on the right, for garden parties and outdoor occasions, a Julian Rose dress of printed cotton satin worn with a hat by Clarida.
