All Clear by bugle call: in London after an air-raid. With a boy scout as bugler: a Special Constable's car giving the 'all clear' notice after the recent Zeppelin raid on London. The system of sounding the all clear by bugle in London came into operation in connection with the Zeppelin raid of 19th-20th October 1917.
