Two photographs illustrating 'How to use a walking-stick as a weapon in a crowd' from 'Self-Defence with a Walking-Stick', an article by Edward William Barton-Wright (1860 - 1951) in Pearson's Magazine 1901. Barton-Wright was a British entrepreneur who developed his own form of martial art called Bartitsu.
