The Baptiste Bertrand Memorial Cup competition, competed for by lady amateurs of British nationality who had never fenced in a final pool of the Ladies' Foil Championship, and who had not fought as members of an international foil team. Picture shows the winner of the cup, Miss Neligan (on right) and Miss Venables, the runner-up.
