Details	Front-cover of The Sketch featuring The Bishop of London (1858-1946), who was Chaplain to the London Rifle Brigade and London Royal Naval Volunteers from 1901. He fervently supported the British cause during World War One, visiting troops on the Western Front and Salonika and as the war progressed, he encouraged younger clergy members to enlist as soldiers. In this photograph he is wearing his chaplain's field-kit for World War I.
