Description | The Bobbin Club, Regent Street 1932 |
Details |
Artist's impression of the interior of the Bobbin Club in Regent Street, around 3am 'when it is usually at its liveliest' according to The Bystander. The magazine also mentions that it is here that well-known members of society, stage and film, members of the Services and other habitués of the West End can be found chatting and dancing to one of the best orchestras in London. 'Raids by both police and by burglars have entirely failed to cast an air of gloom over this cheery place.'
