Description The bombing of the British Red Cross.
Details

The interior of one of the wrecked Red Cross tents after the first raid. The attack on Dr Melly's unit near Kworam continued over the following two days. Britain claimed the right to claim compensation from Italy for the incidents, arguing that the red cross was displayed clearly for the pilots to see.
