Description The British 34th Regiment leaving the Crimea, 1856
Details

Massed British troops, many bearded, boarding the ship the 'Prince Arthur' for their return to England after the Crimean War. The 34th Regiment was comanded by Colonel Goodenough and was encamped near Victoria Redoubt. The other ship in the engraving is the 'Thames' for the Land Transport Corps.
