The British Valhalla -- Marriage of King Henry I (Henry Beauclerc) to Princess Matilda of Scotland in 1100, and the Wreck of the Blanche Nef (the White Ship, in which their son and heir, William Adelin or Aetheling, died in 1120, leading to a succession crisis), suggestions for the scheme to decorate the newly built Houses of Parliament with frescoes.
