The christening ceremony in Brunswick Cathedral of Prince Ernest Augustus, the baby son of Duke and Duchess of Brunswick and grandson of Kaiser Wilhelm II. The scene, drawn from life by Sphere special artist Fortunino Matania, shows the Kaiser on the left, Duchess Thyra of Cumberland (sister of Queen Alexandra) holding the baby, the German Empress and Ernest Augustus's parents.
