Fashionable race-goers wear black in 1910 in mourning for the death of Edward VII. The figures shown (clockwide from the centre) are Countess of Portarington and Mr. Lowther (shown in the oval frame), Lady Sybil Grant and a gentleman, the Earl of Derby and Lady Wolverton, Lady Knaresborough with her daughter the Hon. Helen Meysey-Thompson and Mr. Miller Mundy, Lady Evelyn Guiness and a gentleman, and Lady Newborough with a gentleman.
