The damaged HMS 'Saumarez', pictured off the coast of Albania, after she had hit a mine, October 1946. On the night of 22nd October the British destroyers HMS 'Saumarez' and 'Volage' hit mines in the channel between Corfu and Albania, sustaining heavy damage and casualties.
