The Death of Ananias, after a cartoon for a tapestry by Raphael, Italian renaissance artist. At the time the cartoon was in an exhibition at Hampton Court, West London. It shows the New Testament story when various rich men sold their property in order to distribute money to the poor. Ananias secretly kept back some of his proceeds, was rebuked for this by St Peter, and fell down dead.
