Funeral Procession of Henry John Temple, 3rd Viscount Palmerston (1784-1865), as the hearse passes Charing-Cross, London, 1865. Palmerston, English statesman, had wanted to be buried at Romsey Abbey, but was given a full state funeral at Westminster Abbey.
