Photograph showing General Gustav Jodl (centre), the Nazi Chief-of-Staff, signing the unconditional surrender of Germany, bringing an end to the Second World War in Europe. This surrender took place at the Supreme Headquarters Allied Expeditionary Force at Rheims in France on 7th May 1945.
