The great Sylt raid: a bomber attacks in the glare of searchlights, 'flaming onions' and bursting star shells. Attacking Hornum, the seaplane base on the southern end of the German island of Sylt, where hangars can be seen in flames: a British plane dropping down to bombing height, while others range over the island.
