Some pictorial jazz jottings from the Hippodrome. Sketches by Hynes of various performers in The Jazz Mistress, the 1925 revue at the London Hippodrome. In the centre is Winifred Arthur, a nineteen year-old South African who conducted the 22-strong all-male jazz orchestra in the show.
