Various scenes of the Lord Mayor's Show in London during the Second World War; clockwise from top left- the King takes the salute of the free french forces; Indian troops marching at the head of the empire forces from overseas; one of the many tanks that took part in the procession; soldiers of free France (wearing British-type battle-dress) marching past the saluting base; The Lord Mayor, Sir John Laurie, greeting Mr Churchill at the Mansion House before the banquet; and Australian soldiers past bomb-damaged buildings in the heart of the city.
