Nadejda Mikhailovna Mountbatten, Marchioness of Milford Haven (28 March 1896 – 22 January 1963) second daughter of Grand Duke Michael Mikhailovich of Russia and his morganatic wife Countess Sophie von Merenberg. She was a younger sister of Countess Anastasia de Torby, Lady Zia Wernher. Married Prince George of Battenberg in 1916. Pictured here smoking while attending the Fernie Hunt, where her brother-in-law, Major Harold Wernher, was joint master of the hounds.
