The dance floor (top) and members and guests (bottom) at Murray's, in Beak Street, one of the new late opening supper clubs springing up around London on the eve of the First World War. The club was opened by Canadian Jack May in 1913 and in 1915, a sister club, Murray's River Club was opened in Maidenhead. It continued as a club until 1923 when it closed and reopened as Blanchard's.
