Scenes from the 1908 Olympic Games, held at Shepherd's Bush stadium in London. 1. R. W. Rose (U.S.), winner of 'Putting the Weight', 46ft 7 1/2 in. 2. Gymnastic Team Competition - Swedish. 3. H. Taylor (GB) won the 400 metres swimming race by over 4 yards. 4. J.E.Deakin (GB), the first man home in the Team Race final. 5. Winners of the Team Race for Great Britain. 6. M.J.Sheridan (U.S.) won the Discus Throwing with 134ft. 2in.
