The Onions, a concert party entertaining troops on the Western Front during the First World War, so-called because they said they were always, "in the soup." The Tatler comments that they 'have had a marked success with all classes of audiences, even with those that included generals.' The inset pictures show Cyclist G. E. Francis as the Broken Doll and (right) Cyclist D. J. Fleming s the Hyde Park Girl.
